April 16, 2005:

This was the inaugural concert in the PCMM's bi-monthly series. The evening began with Jeff Smith's White Noise Ensemble featuring non-pitched interpretations of the sounds made by early man in the Americas. Marvin Scott's Living Proof, with Marvin on saxes, Jeremy Schroeder on trumpet, Jeff Naylor on bass, and Mike Bell on drums, followed with improvisational and neo-groove music. Drummer Corey Fogel closed the concert with extended drumming techniques and extreme tactics in a stream of consciousness sound narrative. Check out the review in Artish Magazine.
